Since December 2022, KiwiBackup has been listed in the catalog of UGAP (Union des Groupements d’Achats Publics, the French public procurement agency) through the SCC multi-vendor contract. The software vendor now offers public buyers two data backup licenses: KiwiCloud, ISO 27001 certified, and KiwiSanté, HDS certified.
Cybersecurity, a key challenge for local authorities
With cyber threats on the rise, local authorities and OPSNs (public digital service operators) are looking for reliable partners to protect their data and IT systems. By joining the UGAP catalog through SCC*, KiwiBackup strengthens its presence in the public sector and makes its secure backup solutions easier to access.
“Many town halls, intermunicipal communities and intermunicipal associations already rely on our services to back up their sensitive data offsite on our ISO 27001 certified platforms, hosted entirely in France. Being selected by UGAP marks a strategic turning point in our development in the public sector,” explains Sébastien Heitzmann, Managing Director and CTO of KiwiBackup.
*These KiwiBackup software solutions are part of the vendor library of SCC, which holds a contract with UGAP.
