A new answer to the backup challenges of virtualized environments
Virtualization plays an increasingly important role in business infrastructures. With the integration of Hyper-V, KiwiBackup now allows businesses to include their virtual machines in their overall backup strategy, without multiplying solutions for each component of their infrastructure.
This development complements the environments already supported by KiwiBackup and strengthens its multi-environment approach, designed to simplify the protection and administration of business data.
Back up and restore Hyper-V virtual machines
Support for Microsoft Hyper-V allows administrators to back up their virtual machines, restore them in the event of an incident and monitor operations from the KiwiBackup environment.
Businesses can thus keep centralized management of their backups, whether for workstations, servers, SaaS solutions, NAS devices or virtual machines.
This development also meets the needs of IT resellers, integrators and MSPs who want to offer their customers consistent protection across their entire infrastructure, without necessarily adding a new solution to their technology stack.
"Our customers' infrastructures are evolving and becoming increasingly hybrid. Virtualization plays an important role in these environments, and it was only logical for the protection of Hyper-V environments to be integrated into KiwiBackup. Our goal is to enable IT teams and our partners to protect their entire infrastructure with a consistent solution that is easy to manage and designed to meet the requirements of business environments."
