The KiwiBackup team is pleased to announce the renewal of its ISO27001 and HDS certifications for its KiwiCloud and KiwiSanté backup solutions. This achievement demonstrates KiwiBackup’s ongoing commitment to information security and health data hosting, and confirms that these solutions continue to meet the strictest international data protection standards.
The renewal of the ISO27001 and HDS certifications also strengthens the confidence of KiwiBackup’s customers and partners in its commitment to security. The company continues to implement advanced security measures to protect our customers’ data against internal and external threats. “This approach is fully in line with our values of trust, professionalism, innovation and dynamism. Our main objective is to ensure the sustainable development of KiwiBackup, while implementing the highest security conditions for processes and data and ensuring the quality of the solution,” says Sébastien Heitzmann, Managing Director of KiwiBackup.
About ISO27001 certification
ISO27001 certification is a world-renowned security standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It establishes a framework of best practices to help companies effectively protect their data and that of their customers. This certification ensures that KiwiBackup continues to meet these high standards.
About HDS certification
Replacing the HDS approval (a purely document-based procedure in effect from 2006 until the last renewals in 2018), HDS (Health Data Hosting) certification is based on a system of evidence of compliance with several hundred security rules. At the time of this certification, KiwiBackup was the smallest certified French company. This shows that the company is doing everything it can to guarantee secure hosting for health data backup.
