We are delighted to present the first episode of our "Techs talk to Techs" series, in which Sébastien HEITZMANN, managing director of Kiwi backup, explains everything about the concept of "Burger monitoring".

Burger monitoring?

Sébastien explains that when an application runs on a server, it is surrounded by two layers of monitoring:

  • The top layer (the burger bun): this is application monitoring or health checks.
  • The middle layer (the burger filling): this is the application itself.
  • The bottom layer (the burger bun): here, we monitor the server, disk space and load.

This approach makes it possible to quickly identify problems at the top layer, as well as configuration or startup issues.

This video is specially designed for system administrators and developers looking to strengthen the security of their websites. Our goal is to share practical tips you can apply directly in your day-to-day work.

Don't miss this episode and stay tuned for the next ones, where we will keep exploring essential technical topics to support you in your work.
